Overview

We’re seeking an experienced Technology Project Manager to deliver complex IT and OT infrastructure projects. This is a hands-on role focused on technical delivery, ensuring projects are completed securely, efficiently, and with minimal disruption to operations. The initial contract is for 6 months, with the potential for extension, and hybrid working arrangements.

About the Role

In this role, you will manage and deliver large-scale IT and OT infrastructure projects, including network upgrades, IoT sensors, telecommunication backbones, and cloud or end-user computing solutions. You will coordinate internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders, ensuring technical challenges are managed effectively and projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to standard.
You will also handle governance for high-risk infrastructure projects, providing clear reporting, managing decisions under pressure, and ensuring operational continuity. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on project delivery in technically complex environments and takes pride in achieving tangible outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver IT and OT infrastructure projects, including networks, servers, storage, cloud, and security solutions
• Manage project governance, reporting, and stakeholder engagement for high-risk initiatives
• Ensure minimal disruption to operations during project delivery
• Track progress, risks, and issues, and implement mitigation strategies
• Coordinate internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes
• Produce technical artefacts, status reports, and documentation

About You

You are a technical project manager with experience delivering complex infrastructure projects in IT and OT environments. You are confident handling high-stakes projects, managing multiple stakeholders, and applying governance to ensure secure, reliable delivery.

Key Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience delivering IT/OT infrastructure projects (networking, servers, storage, cloud, security, end-user computing)
• Experience with IoT, OT networks, or telecommunications backbone upgrades
• Strong understanding of security considerations and operational risk management
• Excellent governance, stakeholder engagement, and reporting skills
• Experience coordinating vendors and internal technical teams
• Ability to manage high-risk, high-pressure projects successfully
• Strong communication and organisational skills
