About the role

The Team Lead – Operations is primarily responsible for growing the profitability of the business by managing a team of Connections Partners and Engagement Specialists to maintain and expand existing client relationships, prospect new clients, and gather knowledge of industry trends, opportunities, and developments.

Key responsibilities

  • Chairing Team daily Sales meetings and weekly Spark meetings
  • Conducting weekly meetings with individual team members
  • Undertaking 6- and 12-month performance reviews with each direct report
  • Proactively prospecting (both individually and collectively) new clients who will contribute to the growth and profitability of Exclaim IT
  • Scope the marketplace, identifying and monitoring new business opportunities
  • Foster and develop credible business relationships with clients
  • Manage the relationship between the client and the Company ensuring deliverables are achieved within timeframes agreed
  • In consultation with team members, map out client’s corporate structure to as to gain a better understanding of their business, and to identify key decision makers
  • Develop/Forecast revenue and profitability for each client
  • Develop a plan for the strategic development of each key account in the team, in consultation with the General Manager – Recruitment Solutions
  • Ensure the Corporate Database/CRM is kept up to date with customer call discussions recorded at the completion of each call/visit

Highly desirable criteria

  • Experience in working in, and leading teams with competing demands
  • Demonstrated excellence in recruitment operations, preferably within a sales environment
  • Demonstrated sales experience including demonstrated success managing accounts and a proven record of sales and business development
  • Strong commercial background

Skills and experience

  • Demonstrated knowledge of recruitment operations, preferably within a sales environment
  • Demonstrated knowledge of commercial procurement practices, particularly as they relate to Recruitment Services
