About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst – Data to support a major enterprise data and transformation programme within a large and complex environment.

This role will play a key part in supporting the delivery of a new enterprise data platform and operating model, working closely with business stakeholders and technical delivery teams to drive process transformation, improve data capability, and support platform adoption.

You will act as the critical link between business and technical teams, helping to define future state processes, improve data usage practices, and ensure business needs are translated into clear and actionable requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage with business and technical stakeholders to document current and future state business processes
• Facilitate workshops and stakeholder consultations to support process transformation initiatives
• Translate business needs into clear functional and business requirements
• Support transition planning, change activities, and adoption of new data platforms and processes
• Identify and manage risks, issues, and dependencies related to data and transformation initiatives
• Support alignment between business processes and data governance practices
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across business, technical, and delivery streams
• Contribute to continuous improvement of business analysis standards and practices

Highly Desirable Criteria

• Demonstrated experience working within large-scale ICT, data, or transformation programmes
• Strong business analysis experience across business change and process improvement initiatives
• Experience documenting current state and future state processes
• Strong understanding of data concepts, analytics environments, and data-driven operations
• Proven stakeholder engagement and workshop facilitation skills
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholder groups and competing priorities
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to simplify complex concepts

Desirable Criteria

• Experience working with Power BI, enterprise data platforms, or analytics environments
• Familiarity with data governance and operating model transformation
• Experience using Microsoft 365 tools, including MS Teams and SharePoint
• Previous experience within government or enterprise-scale environments
