We’re seeking an experienced Business Technology Platform Administrator to join a high-performing Digital Transformation team supporting enterprise technology platforms within a large Queensland Government environment. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in driving digital transformation by ensuring enterprise platforms are secure, reliable, well-governed and continuously improved to meet evolving business needs.

About the role
 

As the Business Technology Platform Administrator, you will be responsible for the governance, operational management and continuous improvement of enterprise platforms. Working closely with business and technical stakeholders, you will manage platform performance, coordinate enhancements, support strategic initiatives and ensure solutions align with organisational objectives.

Key responsibilities
 

• Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of enterprise technology platforms.

• Develop and maintain platform roadmaps aligned with business priorities.

• Monitor platform performance, availability and user adoption.

• Lead platform enhancements and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to deliver platform solutions.

• Ensure compliance with security, privacy and governance requirements.

• Manage platform risks, issues and service performance.

• Support change management activities and executive reporting.

Highly desirable criteria
 

• 5+ years’ experience in a Platform Administrator, Platform Owner or similar role.

• Experience with enterprise platforms such as SAP BTP, SAP ESM, Salesforce, Microsoft Power Platform or Oracle Cloud.

• Strong understanding of platform governance, service management and continuous improvement.

• Experience with stakeholder engagement, business analysis and technology roadmaps.

• Knowledge of cybersecurity, risk and compliance principles.

• Excellent communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.

Desirable criteria
 

• Experience within large enterprise or government environments.

• Knowledge of ITIL or other service management frameworks.

• Relevant certifications in cloud technologies, enterprise platforms or Agile delivery.
